Recruitment of Chief Economic Advisor in State Bank of India

State Bank of India, India’s Largest Commercial Bank and a thought leader in Banking, Economics and 
Policy making, is looking for qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Chief Economic Advisor 
(CEA) on a contractual basis at its Corporate Centre in Mumbai.
A. JOB PROFILE: 
The CEA will be responsible for leading a team at Economic Research Department (ERD) at the Bank’s
Corporate Centre, Mumbai. The official will be the key resource person providing strategic inputs on various 
National and Global economic developments to the Top Management of the Bank and will also be required 
to contribute to formulation of strategy and policy. This is a challenging position with the opportunity to play 
a leading role in policy formulation, analysis and communicating the Bank’s thinking to the outside world. 
The person needs to be conversant with banking/ financial scenario.
